A culinary event was recently held at Seguin High School, where students from Arlington ISD showcased their cooking skills. The event, A Taste of Arlington, featured dishes created by students from six Arlington high schools. These dishes were potential additions to the schools' cafeteria menus.

Students, including a senior from Lamar High School, presented their recipes to attendees, who served as taste testers. The event was well-received, with one booth running out of food within an hour. Further details about the event and the students' creations are available from the Fort Worth Report.

The event aimed to encourage students to develop their culinary talents and consider entrepreneurship.
