A recent event was held at Clifford Davis Elementary, where students walked a red carpet in the gym. The carpet was laid out from the stage to beneath the basketball hoop. Students participated in pairs and small groups, carrying flags and holding hands as they made their way along the carpet.

The event, which took place on May 14, was attended by families who filled the gym. Many of them captured the moment by raising their phones to take photos. A recent alum, Saron Kennedy, was also in attendance, watching from the side as the students walked the carpet.
