The U.S. General Services Administration announced plans to sell a 14-story building and adjacent parking garage. The building, which has 669,264 square feet of space, is part of an effort to cut long-term costs.
Selling the properties is estimated to save $384 million. The federal agencies currently in the building will not be relocating from the central area. The sale is part of the agency's plan to evolve its real estate portfolio to meet mission demands and taxpayer expectations.
