A crisis intervention hotline is available 24/7 for those in need. The hotline is operated by the Suicide and Crisis Center, which has trained counselors and volunteers to respond to calls. The organization received about 1,500 calls last year and also provides group sessions.

The center has been providing support since 1968. Its new executive director has a personal connection to the cause, having lost a family member to suicide. Further information about the hotline and its services can be found through the organization.
