Local Americana outfit Left Arm Tan is set to release new music, despite previously intending for their album Undefeated to be their last. The band's guitarist and principal songwriter, Daniel Hines, had been working on a new project, but an injury and subsequent surgeries led to a period of recovery. As Hines regained his ability to play, he began writing new songs, which will be part of Left Arm Tan's upcoming album, When Tigers Smoked.

The album is due out in October, with a single scheduled for release on August 6. Further details about the band's plans and the new album can be found Weekly.
