Community volunteers and the Rotary Club of Arlington worked together to set up a display of American flags. The event, known as the Field of Flags, featured 911 full-sized flags and marked the launch of Patriot Week. More than 50 volunteers participated in the setup on Saturday, September 5.
The Veterans Memorial Park Foundation welcomed the volunteers to the event. Members of the Rotary Club of Arlington led the effort, which took place at Arlington Veterans Park. Further details about the event and the organizations involved can be found through the source.
