Salvation Army of North Texas sees increased service demand for meals, housing

Food distribution has risen significantly at the primary Fort Worth location of the Salvation Army of North Texas. This past May, the nonprofit provided over 12,000 meals, a substantial increase from the same month last year. The organization's managing director notes that summer typically brings a higher demand for services.
