Some schools in the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD were placed on a secure protocol due to a threat. The incident started with a threat called into Colleyville Heritage High School on Friday. As a result, several schools were affected, including Heritage Elementary, Heritage Middle, and the Early Childhood Development Center.

During the secure protocol, students and staff stayed inside and continued with their normal activities, but exterior doors were locked and visitors were not allowed in. The threat was ultimately found to be unsubstantiated. For more information, details are available from the school district.
