Tarrant County Property Tax: Due Dates & How to Pay (2026)

When property taxes are due for Fort Worth homeowners and where to handle your bill, from official Tarrant County sources. Updated July 2026.

Tarrant County property taxes must be paid (or postmarked) by January 31 to avoid penalty and interest; they become delinquent February 1. Homeowners 65+ or with a qualifying disability may pay in four installments due January 31, March 31, May 31, and July 31.
